  • How often should I get a service?

    Most vehicle manufacturers recommend servicing every 10,000 to 15,000kms. But if you notice unusual smells or sounds, or your vehicle just doesn’t ‘feel’ right, bring it in to us for an inspection.

  • How much does a service cost?

    How long is a piece of string? We offer competitive hourly rates but to provide you with a quote, we really need to find out some information. Please reach out to us via phone to discuss your vehicle.

  • What sort of repairs can Torque perform?

    Anything from a simple oil change or light bulb replacement through to head gaskets, timing belts and more.

  • Does Torque do free inspections?

    Yes, customer safety is a priority for us. We have free inspections with written quotes.

  • Can Torque do pre-purchase inspections?

    Yes, for a fee, we will do a complete bumper-to-bumper inspection and report on any findings. Keep in mind that this is an external inspection and there are some things we simply cannot check for with the vehicle being disassembled to some point. If you’re looking at a pre-purchase inspection, we recommend calling us.

  • What trailer parts does Torque stock?

    We stock a range of parts including wheels, tyres, jockey wheels, spring packs, lighting, wiring, brake controllers, brake parts, bearings, axles and hubs.

  • Does Torque repair trailers on site?

    Both of our workshops are able to handle trailers being brought in to be worked on.

  • What trailers can Torque cater to?

    Anything you can hook behind a vehicle and tow with a standard car licence. We service everything between utility trailers, horse floats, car trailers, box transporters, tandems, campers and caravans.

  • Where can I get my trailer serviced?

    Either of our locations, in Cairns and Mackay, are able to handle all your trailer servicing and repair needs.

  • When should I get my trailer serviced?

    We recommend a trailer service before any large trip, or an annual inspection. It’s also worth checking tyre pressures and lights each and every single time you use your trailer.
